Slavs and Tatars (Tartars and Slavs) are proud to present the Moravian Gallery in Brno on the occasion of the Brno Biennial 2012 project Khhhhhhh. This is a review of education, progress and modernity through the perspective of a single phoneme - kh. The phoneme that is for a large part of Western Hemisphere difficult if not downright pronounceable ineffable, offers profound insight into the language not only from the perspective of evolutionary interface, but also metaphysical. Slavs and Tatars through this relatively nelibozvučného guttural sound attempt to resuscitate the sacred nature of language, reading from sacred texts to the ritual of the printed word. This is the approach as well as analytical and emotional, with research and original creation: Khhhhhhh explores thorny paths of knowledge in the face of wisdom, immediacy of oral communication over written words and repulsion doctrine versus pedagogy in the heart of collective experience and research.
