The new issue of Some Magazine goes beyond the world of interiors and style. Home can be a multifunctional cloth, you always carry with you. It can be a pile of blankets, neatly folded together and stuck behind a phone box - or a nostalgic
memory of a place in your childhood. To explore new ideas of home, the editorial team have visited the artist Athier Mousawi in London, received letters from Seoul, Berlin and Somewhere, spoke to the young minimalist Florian Riviére and found many other exciting concepts of what „home“ might possibly be.
Some Magazine
is an international magazine between design and art produced by students in the graphic design course of Prof. Sven Völker at Burg Giebichenstein, University of Art in Halle/Germany. With two bi-lingual issues per year, it has managed to carve out a niche in the tough but promising independet magazine market. Some Magazine is on sale at such renowned shops as Colette in Paris, doyoureadme?! in Berlin, the London Design Museum or online at www.somemag.com. The editorial team have also just recently published Some Book about forms of graphic expression between art and design with swiss Lars Müller Publishers.
