This paperback is a guide to sixteen sites in the Dessau region that are closely connected to the history of the Bauhaus: from the Anhaltisches Theater to the town hall, from the paintings gallery to the public prosecutor’s office. The book follows the trails, few of which are still visible today, though they are still important for what they tell us about the Bauhaus’s rise in and expulsion from Dessau.
