The New College Beat is a small circulation, self-published work of minority interest made by Ryan Waller. The newest The New College Beat was produced with the amazing contributions of some of my friends and favorite creatives: Noah Butkus, Sean Carmody, Steven Harrington, Garrett Morin, Jenny Mörtsell, Nathan Nedorostek, Jason Nocito, Harsh Patel, Todd St. John, Miika, Saksi, Jesper Ulvelius. Their work was created in response to the art of scrying, a practice used to discover the future and to reimagine the present. The topic came about as I began preparing for graduate school (whose logo provided much of the original inspiration). The pieces for sale here are a means of affording that school. (There are 1,000 New College Packs available. If I were to sell each one, that would cover one year of tuition. Of course, that doesn't take into account a number of other factors, but I am going to the art part of the school, not the math part).
